Madam are a 5 piece band, fronted by writer and producer Sukie Smith , who play passionate widescreen, nocturnal music
Their third album “Back to the Sea” is planned for release later in 2015.
Madam’s latest effort “Gone Before Morning” was recorded mainly at Real World Studios (Peter Gabriel’s converted mill in Wiltshire), and followed up to the universally acclaimed debut “In Case of Emergency”.
The band make a stunning soundtrack of dark foreboding sensual beauty.
They conjure songs of loss and triumph which are confessional yet secretive, fragile and powerful.

Used to pack on regular basis great London venues like Union Chapel, National Portrait Gallery and The Lexington, Madam are becoming favorites of European audiences as well, playing between late 2011 and early 2012 three successful Italy tours and one full week of shows in Germany.
Late 2012 Madam released the song “Thou Tiny Child (The Coventry Carol)”, a Christmas song which has been played by Simon Raymonde (Bella Union) in his show on Amazing Radio.
