In Fuzz We Trust

In Fuzz We Trust: a Devotional Tour feat. The Koolaid Electric Company, Piatcions, Black Manila

Three of the most promising bands in the A Giant Leap roster are ready to storm the UK with weapons made of fuzz, reverbs and uncompromising white noise.
It’s a brand new REAL scene growing in flesh and blood and dreams, as it proves the almighty Liverpool Psych Fest planned on Sept 29th, which sees all these 3 bands featured in the line up!

PIATCIONS
Packed with energy and effervescence, they combine the soundscaped inertia of spiritualized with the set-back and hushed vocal indifference of Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe. Beat
A luscious, dense sound, artfully constructed and beautifully arranged. 8 Subba Cultcha
Piatcions, they can’t conceal it, are a ‘proper’ rock band, with muscle and melody in place. Unpeeled
Sumptuous, seductive and serene ‘Senseless>Sense’ is in short the sound of stars swooning, here the honey dripped cortege of star crossed lovelorn celestial anthems are spiked and purring to an alluring cosmic choreography dimpled with pulse racing struts. Losing Today

BLACK MANILA
Fiasco touches on ferocious art-rock and sneering punk as well. Over repetitively hypnotic guitar strums, nasally excitement from the vocals gives a foreboding sense of a big chorus Obscure Sound
Black Manila are a band who have clearly decided that rock ‘n’ roll – at its key, most core level – is a degenerate art form, played by outcasts. Something that shouldn’t be downloaded but rolled up, smoked, consumed and soaked in through every pore Clash Magazine
England isn’t dirty, it’s absolutely filthy. It’s also genuinely electrifying, and furthermore the group are British. If you thought this stuff only comes from Texas think again. Stage Dive
