Genuine contenders for being one of the best underground electro bands out there at the moment – Artrocker Magazine

The Unkindness Of Ravens are Berlin based electro-rock duo Nina Wagner and Ben Raine. Fusing raw garage-rock guitar and vocals with stripped down electro beats, the band are the essence of minimalism – yet deliver an explosive live show and sonic attitude most four-piece bands would kill for.

The pair have been compared to bands such as The White Stripes and The Kills, however their sound is darker and heavier, more soulful and progressive.
Having built their reputation on the London underground scene, supported by an array of well-received singles and stylistically innovative videos, the band relocated to Berlin to record debut album VIRUS and take their sound further into Europe.
Released in summer 2012, VIRUS was praised by critics for it’s sinister and hypnotic edge, with Rock Sound Magazine hailing Wagner as “both aurally and visually stunning, a captivating focal point for this most interesting of bands.”
Building on a wave of European press and recent placements with French Connection UK and on BBC drama ‘Good Cop’, The Unkindness Of Ravens are now working on their second album and taking their exhilarating and revolutionary sound further on the road.

“Sinister and intense” – Rock Sound Magazine
“Stylish raw power” – BBC America
“One can imagine TUOR laying waste to an intimate club venue as well as turning heads at a festival” – Louder Than War
