Noise Under Dreaming is a project born in 2006 from two musicians based in Milan, Italy.

They got spotted soon by Foolica Publishing, that in 2008 released with Foolica Electro label their first album Tarokidei.
The release created a word of mouth that gave the band the chance to play live in Italy and abroad and of working more and more frequently on soundtracks.
In 2010 Red Birds / Seahorse Recordings released the acoustic EP Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, that features acoustic versions of some Tarokidei tracks, an idea born during an acoustic show in Barcelona.
In September 2011 a short movie with Noise Under Dreaming’s original soundtrack, G: The Other Me by Michele Coggiola, was screened at the 68° Venice Film Festival.

In 2012 Red Birds / Seahorse Recordings released their second LP In Mine, which got very positive reviews.

Meanwhile they were still composing soundtracks, also working with the Oscar Prize winner Gabriele Salvatores for
Siberian Education in 2013.

On April 7th, 2022 Noise Under Dreaming release digital their third LP Lone. again with Seahorse Recordings.

Previously the duo used to write songs while being based in different places and interacting through technology, but this time the plan was to compose and record together. Pandemic gave a slight detour to the schedule, and some of the original tracks became more destructured in the process.

The crowd’s noise – and the solitude amongst the crowd – which was the trading mark of their previous releases, somewhat stopped, because there was no more crowd, but only solitude.

In this new quietness, without background noise, the instruments – guitars, bass, synth, percussion – are finally clean and clear, shaping the songs.

Released digitally on April 07th, 2022 and with cd digiapck following in June, by Seahorse Recordings, Lone is  the third album for Noise Under Dreaming, and is now finally available on cd dgipack, with colours highlighting the summery blue mood of these nine songs.
The duo from Milan anticipated the album with the single Nothing to Say, a guitar driven song, where chords build up an emotional loop, until the final chorus reaches the climax
It’s a song about young adults, seeing the disintegration of the values they grew up with, while facing new truths hard to cope with.

Seahorse 2020 Survival Kit

2020 might have been the toughest year ever, nevertheless Seahorse Recordings it’s proud to have, in spite of everything, released more than a bunch of great albums, for new, upcoming and more established artists. Music has been the life belt for all of us through pandemic, so to finally celebrate the end of 2020, we asked all of them to contribute with a previously unreleased song to this compilation. Some choose to cover songs they love (ELLE trio rendition of Fleetwood Mac “Landslide”, Miky Marrocco / Kokura covering Bill Callahan / Smog), some preferred live recordings, others decided to record totally new tracks. This is our “thank you” to everyone who supported the artists and the label, and an invitation to discover more if you like what you hear.

Indie, folk, electronic, trip hop

Le Flâneur is a dynamic figure: he can sit in a bistro observing the world that flows in front of him, but he is also a tireless walker, covering great distances, travelling random routes. A condition that allows him to observe everything that happens around him, without haste. A kind of involuntary hero, who fights against the approval of costumes and reaffirms his personality.
HE JUST WANTS TO SAVE HIMSELF.

The project: Les Flâneurs is an idea of producer Alessandro Marchetti, who’s also a member of the indie band Il Disordine delle Cose. They released 3 albums (Quite Please, Warner Chapell). The full-lenght “La Giostra” was recorded in Iceland with the sound engineer of Sigur Ros and “In the Right Place” in Scotland in the studio of Mogwai and Belle and Sebastian.

Over those years Alessandro recorded some songs with a different soul, now collected under the name Les Flâneurs, involving collaborations with several artists he met in these years.  The sound ranges between indie, electronic and folk, with a significant use of synths, drum machines and orchestral sections.
He liked the idea of working with different singers, especially girls.
It’s a sort of collective project, with Alessandro working as “director” as well as producer, in which everyone has brought their talents helping to improve the songs.
The songs feature artists from different countries: from Italian Carlot-ta, to Swedish Hanna Turi, to Brazilian Priscila Ribas. There is also a featuring (clearly unauthorized) by Edith Piaf.
Les Flâneurs is also a work in progress, with several singles going to be released in the following months, each coming with a video, allowing the full album to be revealed along a road that will hopefully open to more collaborations.

The first single “Dark Souls”, released on all digital stores on December 10th, 2019 and featuring trippy warm vocals by Alice Greco, got praises and coverage worldwide, from the likes of influential websites as Jammerzine (US), The Joy of Violent Movement (US), This Is Chill (US), The Blackout Radio Show (US), The Breakfast King (FR), Book of Lies (UK), Music Traks (IT).
“I was looking for a warm voice for a song with the sound of Bristol in the late 90‘s – says Alessandro – and I thought of Alice, seen live in a club with her tribute to Adele, with whom she played all over Europe. I also knew that she worked a lot abroad as a singer so it seemed like the best choice. That’s how it was! Feeling with Alice was more genuine, her personality is disruptive, but she followed my advises no matter her experience.
