Kodaclips were founded in the second half of 2021 by four friends living in and around Cesena, nearby Italy’s north Adriatic Coast.
Each member came from a different artistic background, ranging from psychedelia to stoner and progressive, and in Kodaclips these sounds melt, together with 90’s vibes.
Heavily influenced by the second wave of shoegaze, especially by the italogaze scene, Kodaclips enjoy to experiment with melodic and arrangement ideas.
They made their stage debut towards the end of 2021 and, after a few local shows, they were chosen as opening act for of A Place to Bury Strangers Italy tour.

Kodaclips released their debut album Glances in September 2022 (Overdub Recordings).

The album title was a tribute to one of their main influences, quoting the lyrics from Don, Aman, the 3rd track from the masterpiece Spiderland by Slint.

Early 2023, the single Not My Sound put them into focus of the international shoegaze scene, with a video premiere on Backseat Mafia and heavy rotation on DKFM and Eardrum Buzz.

Gone Is the Day, released on February 23rd, 2024, is the first single anticipating Kodaclips’ second album of the same title, due out on September 06th on Sister 9 Records from Manchester, UK.
The shifts between lighter and heavier sounds reflect the inner voyage behind the composition, exploring and confronting the scars left on the Self from dysfunctional family relationships.
The sound is shoegaze with post punk and psychedelic vibes: deep reverberations and abrasive distortions, while the vocals hang on in hypnotic spirals.
Gone Is the Day was produced by Kodaclips themselves, with mixing and mastering by James Aparicio.

Carpet Ceiling is the first single from Platonick Dive’s new album Take A Deep Breath, to be released in Autumn 2024 by influential German label Moment of Collapse.
It’s like a return to the origins but with the eyes always looking to the future.
It’s a dreamy, soundscape ride track with an emotional and epic climax. Basically is a song about life, the importance of being yourself and taking care of you everyday.
It’s a track where you can totally immerse yourself: to rest and chill, to focus and work, to dance and jump, to run and drive, to have sex, to therapize yourself.

Carpet Ceiling official video is a collection of personal footage by Gabriele Centelli shot during the Iceland roadtrip he made is summer 2023.
It’s like a film documentary, an emotional ride around Iceland with a mesmerizing epilogue surrounded by the epic waterfalls.

For fans of: Explosions In The Sky, Tycho, Mogwai, God Is An Astronaut, The Album Leaf.

Do you remember when Indie Rock was for dancing and sing-a-along?
Those nights at Proud Camden sweating in fluo skinny jeans with The Rakes, These New Puritans, Arctic Monkeys, Gang of 4, The XTC, The Cribs, Bloc Party and so many more?
Well, The Whistling Heads cannot remember it, cause they’re still in their teenage years, but they are doing it with the vitality of a generation sick of boredom and confinements.

The Whistling Heads released early September 2023 the ace debut album Dull Boy on Disasters by Choice, then played more than 30 promotional dates in Italy, and are planning to cross any border in 2024, with Well…I Mean being the first of a series of singles planned for the forthcoming months.

Built on a catchy Moog riff, Well…I Mean will stick to your ears, a genuine dance-punk tune which could fit well in the DFA library.

Lost in the Manor (UK)
With its lively intensity making an enduring impression on everyone who hears it, this song begs to be felt as much as heard. Uplifting, inspiring, and moving the soul, is a testament to the power of music. Dulaxi (UK)
It’s this catchy, conversational vocal style that makes the track so accessible for those not usually accustomed to post-punk. The catchiness extends well beyond the vocals though, with guitars and synths that will have you having a little bop in your seat.
Hardbeat (UK)
Full of light punk attitude, danceable rhythm and compelling lyrics, the band kick off 2024 with a stellar new single that’s sure to strike a chord with fans around the world.
